Mothers Finest. I lived in Hot'lanta in the late 70's. These guys (and Gal) were from the Atlanta area and opened for a lot of the major acts. I became a fan after the first song. The first album was Mothers Finest the second was Another Mother Further. Love it.

Yep, they're great! Moses mo is a really underrated guitarist. Lots of great funk on those albums. First heard em about 6 years ago, but they have come around again in the cycle of what I'm diggin on.. Others are Doyle Bramhall jr and smokestack, Cry of love, Sly and the Family Stone, And Trapeze.
