I fell in the MP-1 trap back in the day also. I even traded my Super Champ with factory EVM for the matching power amp.

1st stripper thus far. New WD pickguard with a bit too big pickup holes and SD Antiquity Firebird pickups. New Allparts tuners and wraparound. Still needs a fret dress and a big chip on the edge of the fingerboard filled.

Rockin'!! Love that. It's going to be an awesome player.

I got all my lap instruments home today. I will snap some pics later if I stop freezing and sweating long enough.

Ok too cold to leave acoustics in the car.. grrr smells like goodyear blew the eff up here.

1914 F2, 2 flatpole Fender laps (badass stephens bar!) Maggie lap and one of my other most prized finds from the wild, a 1930 electric tricone style 1. Only three ever made and this one is the only poly deco board.

Easy to play too. You drink until you can't see and then you hit the strings with the bar and act like the devil. People think that's awesome.

Made a terrible error last night. Broke the G strin on the maggie tuning to G from D. Looked in my string vault. Nothing but EB .008s and 3 packs of rusted GHS lap sets from like 1990. Oops..

You can't just play guitar. Sometimes you need to relax with something different. It's either methaqualone or a lap steel. Zen is zen.

Word! My wife complained that I played guitar too much. So I bought a set of vintage Slingerland drums. Now she complains I don't play guitar enough. It's an XXY vs XYY vs XYZen world out here!
