The Last of the World's Great Human Beings
Seek immediate medical attention if you suddenly go either deaf or blind.
If you put the Federal Government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in five years time there would be a shortage of sand.

Re: Moving in June
Well to get back on the subject of moving in June, ME TOO! Although mine is a much smaller move. About 2 hours away from Tucson to Phoenix for about 6 months while I go to HVAC school.
Re: Moving in June
Good for you - HVAC is something we'll always have, especially in Arizona! Prepare to be super busy in the summer months!
Please, though, stay away from companies where they pressure you to up-sell on every repair job
I have a service contract on my heat pump that includes 2 yearly cleanings/checkups, and every time, they try to sell me something I don't need.
Last time, the guy said his handheld DMM indicated that the 40uF motor run cap had "only 20% of its' life left", and I needed a new one, for $105.
I went to my amp room and brought out a new 40uF motor run cap can, and asked him to show me the difference on his meter between the new one and the worn-out one, and he turned all red, mumbled some excuse, and left in a hurry.

The fan would not come on.
He suspected it before he took the cover off.
I don't know how you can tell it only has 20% life left but the tech that came to my house looked at it and saw a bulge or leak not sure which.
It was a $80 lesson, one I will remember if it fails again.
Took five minutes to fix.
