Gold would only make a good pick if you were playing country rap in a Nudie suit.

Gold, cbass you aren't that ostentatious (fancy word for showoff). Keep that gold somewhere safe. Besides the second you put one down, some vermin will snatch it.

If you have real silver coins, it might be an interesting thing to try converting a very worn-out one to a pick. Dime to quarter size.

Wonder if anyone has a segment of a piece-of-eight, a wedge like that's already nearly cut to shape. Hoist the skull n crossbones! Yo ho ho and a can of PBR!

Heck I was havin' a hard time even spelling it! And - you're not the only one reading the thread. We got some funny friendly furriners, might speak Swedish & Norwegian & like that. By me you're 100%, cbass, the last thing I want to do is get you upset. (Now try not to imagine cbass rockin' the country rap in his gold Nudie suit, twangin' a shiny gold-top with a genuine gold coin... yes that could only exist in the imagination. Well, you never can tell...)

US nickels had a small silver content in "war nickels" only @ 1943-45. Only @ 15% more or less. There's manganese in those too - makes 'em very hard. You can tell them at a glance - there's a large letter P or D or S on the back right over the Monticello dome. But they're not all that valuable, maybe worth a buck at best when silver's selling at top dollar so no worries about mashing one into shape. Who knows, could be a hit. I still think you'll have better luck with a standard 90% silver coin.

Cool! & Congrats on post # 1500! Yah, with that gold tooth & the rest of the gold rig look out you could be the next big thing. I got a couple of 'em too (gold teeth not 9mm's), good stuff. I can't rap but I can speak hip. We should write up some country rap songs in swedewegian with a finn accent and give 'em a show. (Oh S... just remembered one of my clients IS country/blues and tours Sweden regularly. Look up George Kilby Jr. Horn section too on the CD but I don't know about on the road. Good stuff. Smooth as 50 y/o bourbon.)

No, sorry. I took your youtube link offers off my table. I'd rather wear a a thong I found on a subway that has skid marks in it on my face like Michael Jackson.

Dirty Diana needs to wipe more frequently.

Ok. That is hillbilly gold. Jeesus.
