I'm Rich Carnese..62 years old...originally from Queens N.Y. now residing in Nashville area. Playing for about 50 years(OMG!). Played many WMCA(a NY radio station)"Good Guy Shows" when I was 15. Did a stint as Tommy James' lead guitarist in the late '70's. Had the fortune of going to school with Tony Bruno and later meeting Andy Fuchs while we both worked at a guitar/amp shop in Queens. Have built a Marshall 50 clone-early "70's style, and one of RJ's PCB Lerpoole 15 watters(MY FAVORITE)
Gibson Les Paul R0 reissue, melody maker,Fender Strat Special,Danelectro 12, LTD ec model(refinished by me).

Hey hey -

Kevin R
38 yrs old, married w/first daughter on the way! We have a dog too named Shelby.
I work as a tech for a touring band, but have also been a bike courier, small business owner, and production assistant in the film industry.
Grew up in Central Massachusetts, moved to Boston and lived there for about 20 years, moved to Brooklyn NY w/my wife for about 2 years and now we live in Western Massachusetts.

I have played in bands since I was 13 or so, but couldn't care less about gear until 2005-ish when I played through my first tube amp. Have been fascinated since and within the past year got into building amps. Taught what I know to myself by looking things up online and reading them hundreds of times until they started making sense, the brute force approach. Much of what I have learned so far has been through reading different posts on this board, so I thought it's about time I joined. I like the idea of building a very simple amp that can be versatile by turning 1 or 2 knobs.

Nice to meet you all and thanks for the education!
