Shipping is just out of hand these days. I just shipped an Applause, no case, in a bubblewrap filled box, from Frisco to Wenatchee WA and it cost $43 by slow boat.
That scope is going to cost 10 times more to ship than the cost of the scope. Cool piece though.

yeah it's out of hand... I mean I get it... it cost money to go from A to B but the prices are fixed and the cost of gas fluxuates. now it's possible that in the all to near future we'll be glad the prices are set at where they are. but at the moment the gas is down almost 1/2 of what it was a year ago... cut us a break. I used to be able to ship a head across the states for $35 as a priority shipment. Now i'm lucky to do it for $100 ground. You know maybe they should start a frequent shippers clud like the grocery stores and give us a mileage card and discounts. Just thinking out loud.
when I bought that scope 4 years ago it was $15 shipping and I thought that was high.. how times change.
