Yeah, it took my Mom. I've got memory problems but I think they relate more to the 60s than any disease. (60s meaning both 1960s and my 60s)

Both my parents had dementia and needed care in their later years.

If it's hereditary, then I'm screwed. I worry when I can't remember things: is it normal aging, or am I starting to see signs of dementia? Makes me realize that I better enjoy life now while I can.
Don't you boys know any NICE songs?

The announcements that Malcolm has dementia and has had a stroke do not tell all of the truth.

Malcolm is suffering from a degenerative brain condition due to the narrowing of the arteries to his brain.

This has been caused by a lifetime of very heavy smoking.

My source 'close to the band' has been quoted as saying "Both Angus and Malcolm would rather smoke than breathe!"

A warning to us all, give it up now.
