Get some freshly knackered race horse shin bone - it's the most dense.

It's OK to ask how I know...

Thank you for asking.

While I was in grad school, some of my lab mates worked in collaboration with the school of veterinary medicine to study the effects of race horse training regimen on fracture resistance. I helped design and build the test apparatus for maintaining a biologically correct environment during testing. I minored in biomedical engineering and studied the mechanical properties of bone. It's fascinating stuff - it is in constant dynamic response to loading. One lesson learned: Don't ramp up your load bearing exercises right before a long back pack trip - your leg bones will be in their weakest state and you'll be more prone to fracture.

Bone guy told us that cows from a hilly area would be good for nut material. Alpine walrus skull is pretty dense too.

I was WTF is that crazy thing, then when I went to quote the image and I could read the description in the html. Sh*t I really need that. Funny outcome. Thanks.

Instead of seeing it as a bug, think of it as a feature:

It's a raging racing elephant on roids. Gets bigger all the time.
No saddle - bareback all the way.

Turns out a couple frets do need dressed. I thought they were ok, but they aren't. Also, the nut is too low on the E and D strings. The nut is the mahor problem. I don't have time to fix this correctly right now. My temporary quick fix, just to stop the annoyance, was to place a thin piece of paper directly between the string the string and the nut of the E and D strings. One thickness of paper from the receipt from my fav taco place worked on the E string and two thicknesses worked on the D string. Didn't want to leave you guys hanging... :P
