Are you speaking of Zemaitis guitars? Tony Zemaitis built one of a kind instruments for some big names. Notably Ron Wood of the Stones.

Tony has passed but the family sold the rights to the name and the tradition has carried on.....very expensively I might add.

You're right, it wasn't Keith it was Ron. I remember now it was a Faces concert where Keith joined them on stage.

Yea Woody also has a metal front in addition to that disc front. Still Zemaitis though. I have had a jones for one for a long time. I love the metal front and the pearl front too.
