Speaking of caps......I recently robbed EVERYTHING from the inside of an old Grundig reel to reel.

Now these are some ODD caps!

Do I need a special marker for these?

What about the ones that look like two pieces of flat aluminum with a chunk of polystyrene(?) between them?

Did you measure those? If at all they are caps, - they can't be more than a mere pF....?
