I was hit several times when listing tworocks as having a "Dumble like tone". It was not even in the header!

That is insanity. Totally unreasonable and would never hold up if you sued them.. as if you would, but still.

Retarded.

Doesn't make my attitude any better towards the whole fan thing about a freaking amp made of Fenders.

When you make $70,000 profit per build, I imagine you start to notice a few trends:

1. You've got a hellivah lotta time on yer hands.
2. Being at the top of the hill, you become paranoid about losing your position.
3. You really do start to believe your sh!t doesn't stink.
4. You've got plenty of time to dream up new 'catch phrases' (thar will eventually make you the laughing stock) such as crystal lattice structure. I have a friend who is convinced that one came about as a result of an LSD hallucination....

"I might not give the answer that you want me to."

Oh well.....

Getting back to the shake weights, are those the things that looks like you are spanking the monkey when you use them?

after all the dumble stories as some kind of a hobo, i am pleasently surprised he knows how to use the intertnets
only when carlos unlocks the door and turns on the power....

you know what I'm talking about......

Remember those locks are on the outside, not the inside......of his house.

Only when you are working at a lower angle. They are much more effective when you shake them up up by your face.

Ha! Hadn't seen that one before.

The first time my wife and I saw the shake weight commercial we looked at each other and started laughing!

Shake Weight? Really?

This one's pretty good.

Adding cooling fluid is a innovative idea. Perhaps an ice pack on my balls would do the trick. Wait didn't Jodi Arias already try that?

Well folks, it's like this:

I own the "ODS" trademark (for better or worse, lets not fight about it kids...).

Unfortunately, Mr. D has managed to convince E-Bay (incorrectly) that using a phase like "dumble like tone" is somehow not legal. Both Dumble and E-bay are actually wrong if you follow the USPTO guidelines. Using a name for illustrative purposes or comparative purposes is totally legal. For example "Andy's Garage: We repair Volkswagens". Volkswagen can't legally say anything as it simply illustrates what I do and I used the name to show it. For that matter, saying it's a Dumble clone should be legal in the eyes of the government. "Sounds like a Dumble" is fine really...In the eyes of E-bay, it's not....so Dumble bothers people...incessantly.

I ran into this with other amp builders who thought they knew trademark law. He's also bugged me on a few occassions over the dumble.com domain too....whatever he's doing these days, he has spare money for attorneys, harrassing people who own or play his amps, and lots of time to surf the web....
