They covered this amp in GP mag with a gut shot and all. It's my opinion this thing does NOT warrant the price tag and I really don't understand why this amp is so closely associated with Lennon. Even the 'lower' priced one is still too high. Metro's 45/100 recreation isn't asking 5K. Just a marketing gimmick I guess.

Look at the Fender Signature Dead Guy guitars. Look at Gibson Live Guy Guitars.

$25k signature Billy Gibbons? Uhh.. $12k Buddy Holly... Jimmy Page 1275? No thanks. Focusing on marketing instead of quality doesn't buy a dollar from me. Status bought off a shelf. Nope. Idiocy.

I am a loud one.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.

Guitar Player mag:

"Fargen has licensed the rights to produce this line, from Bag One Enterprises and Live Nation Merchandise, and is distributing this on its website, and through it’s network of authorized dealers including music instrument stores and art galleries."

Not fair to criticize this as a too-expensive amplifier - it's Art!

Maybe it should be cause related marketing: "A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this amp will go to support ridiculous political activities."
