I thought the question was if any one finger picks not who is the who's who of finger picking.
I'll just go back to having fun! Don't get so caught up in all the big name people, enjoy your own chops.

The thread was originally going to be if anybody is a fan of Chet/Jerry but those aren't my only favorite guys and represent only a small portion of the great talent out there. I was hoping some of the other fingerstyle players would post clips of songs they enjoy hearing/playing as well FWIW. I'm sure we'll get into techniques sooner or later

That's what I learned first. Using a pick was a major brain strain when I was 16.

To answer the question, yes, I play finger style some. It was a lot in the old days. Added flatpicking on guitar and mandolin. Now I mostly play Nashville style with pick and two fingers on a tele.
