Re: RIP Gary Moore
Very sad news indeed. 58 does not seem nearly as old to me as it once was. His music has always inspired me. He was a really great guitar player with incredible feel and tone. In addition to being a phenominal guitar player, he was a very accomplished singer as well. The man had some serious range and could really deliver a line.

As said above, a young man, by all accounts a healthy lifestyle.

In memorium:
He tears this up!

Many other clips, lots of styles. He had a lot of playing still in
him.
Damn!

Truly a great loss!
Re: RIP Gary Moore
I love that redhouse video too Mikey. If anyone hasn't seen this one, check it out. Gary tastefully shares the stage with BB King doing "The thrill is gone". BB plays it up with the crowd while Gary plays BB's licks back at him (and then some). Priceless! Who would have thought that BB would outlive Gary.....Such a loss. Anyway check it out.

Yep,Thats it,Isnt that Smokin,Damn I love his playing, sang great too!!!
He is a legend, and great a 16,Thin Lizzy was a cool band too,I just watched that one Jim with BB King, then a bunch of the others on the tube.Honestly he could hold his own with anybody,He had a SRV kinda thing on the redhouse clip.It really sucks because I think if he was doing the Thin Lizzy stuff they were to be playing right here in Pa in march.I would have loved to see him,Mikey

Re: RIP Gary Moore
I've seen Gary a few times over the last couple of years, and he's always torn it up whenever he's played. He could shred without sounding like a shredder, and knew when to leave space as well as when to play notes.
For someone who didn't indulge in the complete rock 'n' roll lifestyle it's way too early to check out.
He'll be sadly missed.

I used to sit and play 'still got the blues' when I was just learning as a kid. Such a powerful song and lyric.
See you in the next one Gary.
