I like the logo is it from an old car?
Repro of an emblem for a 1952 Chevy. Seemed appropriate!

I have caught some flack about the wooden chassis. Including my dad who has an EE degree from Duke.

But, when I first fired it up and had an issue that I couldn't identify, I took it to an amp builder friend of mine. He didn't blink about the wood chassis, which I thought was interesting. He liked my grounding scheme, too, with the brass plates. And he did locate my problem -- needed to firm up the ground on the output jack. It referenced ground on my meter but wasn't doing the trick under load.

If the amp flew with him, then I feel pretty good about it due to his experience and reputation.

In any event, it works quite well. Time will tell... :)

Maybe there's a get-together in the future where folks can try it out. You guys ever do that?
