I rode a 750 Norton Commando when I was in college. I also got pretty good at fixing it. Other Norton riders will know what I mean.

I've noticed that an unusual amount of his musician buddies also had bikes. Motorcycles and guitars seem to go hand in hand. He taught me to ride when I was 12 and I owned bikes before cars. So I'm curious, how many of you own bikes and what kind?
Had a chopped Norton Commando in the '70s.
It was a pain in the @$$ to keep running.

Bike now is FXDX SuperGlide Sport, all black.
Had it since it was new, about 10 years.
The bike really fits me and is a reflection of my personality in various ways. I can't imagine wanting a different bike.

What's not to love? They never break and if they do you can fix them with a piece of wire nicked from the roadside fence.

/5 needs /6 front brake, though.
I believe in this and it's tested by research...

That is true. Also your friend needs to inform you that the steering dampener is completely tightened down before you ride off on his /5!

23!!!???

Cliff, you're WAY too young to be as sharp as you are with these amps. You've got a very bright future ahead of you, young man.

My 750 Kawasaki had that goose neck tightern dampener and an adjustable stabilizer from the right fork to the frame.
Neither helped that much but if you forgot to loosen that up when you came into town it was rather surprising to learn you couldn't steer at slower speeds.

I've had a number of bikes over the years and am currently riding a 2003 Honda ST1300 that I've done many long trips on...

You think so? I've only been designing/building amps for a little over a year :D.

I can remember as a small child, (3 or 4 yrs old) my Dad setting me on the tank of his 67 FLH taking me around the block. Had my first bike when I was 14, a little Suzuki 100.

I now ride a 96 FLH of my own. Was rear ended on it about 6 yeras ago, rebuilt what was needed and kept on riding. :D

Over on The SE Watt Forum we just lost a long time member to a motorcycle wreck. He was only 39 and a very active poster on the forum. He will be sorely missed. A van pulled out crossing the road in front of him. Claimed they didn't see him.
