Glad you guys keep your sense of humor.
Me too, life is too short.
Let's get back to stuffing components and making noise!
Remember, keep the smoke in and have fun.
It's called "multitasking".
I can solder, watch MSNBC and rant almost simultaneously.

Hey casey, it seems like the bush admin may have been riding that train....
Re: To those who voted.
Something is not wrong. We've got a healthy body without leeches on it. Holy crap! How about blow jobs for all as a constitutional right? A chicken in every pot, pay my damn mortgage Obama. Free, Free, Free. There is no such thing as a free lunch. You sound like a retired person or someone close to retirement who wont' be contributing to the huge pot that pays for the free stuff. How about you take your mother Theresa attitude and hike on over to India for some charity work.Tubetwang wrote:Something is wrong when the richest country on earth denies it's citizens universal free health coverage.I say give every citizen free education and free health coverage.
How about you let all us free citizens decide what charities or causes we give our money to instead of mandating your personal idea of a national Utopia into the hands of the obese 1,000 pound fat guy can't get it's flabby multiple folded ass out of bed roll him around in flour to find the wet spot bloated inefficient federal government machine? Maybe we need more fire trucks out here in southern california instead of health care for the illegal mexicans. Who the hell are you to define the agenda for all Americans on a federal level.
Great things happen in a vacuum

You mean... they're not already?!bnwitt wrote:Holy crap! How about blow jobs for all as a constitutional right?
Aww, screw that. Who is gonna pick the lettuce? The Border Patrol is like a job application, swim across the border, cross a hundred miles of bad desert, dodge the Border Patrol and you're qualified to pick vegetables for sub- minimum wage.Tubetwang wrote:Got your attention soldiers?

Hey... I know! The Chinese are gonna take over anyway. I say when they get here we build a replica of the Great Wall of China to keep the pesky Quebecois out!
Jeez, that's kinda a good idea. 'Cuz really, that's what methadone is all about. Take the dope money outta the hands of the Mafia. Problem is you suck all the romance outta substance abuse, without the drama and the outlaw chic it's just bland. Might as well get drunk instead!Tubetwang wrote:2. Legalize all drugs!

Besides... stupid people shouldn't use drugs, it just makes 'em more stupid.
Man, if you can't get all you want fer free it may be time fer some serious self-examination!Tubetwang wrote:3. Legalize prostitution.

Finally sumthin' we can agree on!Tubetwang wrote:4. Get rid of that stupid 3 piece suit.

Re: To those who voted.
Wow...you guys still going at it?
I'm going to suspend all political thought until after January 20, 2009.
I got real tired of this 2 year long election.
I am interested to see if the Republicans finally get the message...don't be like the other guys. Go back to the conservatism that the heartland
craves. Throw the northeast republicrats out on their high spending coat tails...and stop being so insecure about what the rest of the world thinks of our reputation.
Some names I like...Governer Bobby Gendell <sp>, Senator Jim DeMint, Governer Mark Sanford...Micheal Steele may be the next head of the RNC.
I'll shut up and move along.

It looks simple... but it ain't. Gotta wash yer hands first, can't have E Coli in the lettuce!Tubetwang wrote:Lettuce pickers wanted...
Seriously, migrant workers have a skill. Not every teenager can pick apples for instance as a summer job. It's piecework, ya gotta kick out da jams to make any money. Boxes and boxes full of fruit. Ya gotta be quick and ya gotta be gentle, beat the crap outta the apples and ya end up with boxes and boxes full of low quality apples. They're big boxes, too.
Then there's avacados. And eggplant. Machines pick tomatoes although boutique organic hippy tomatoes are best picked by hand. And so on.
Palin don't know nuthin' about eggplant, it don't grow fer shit in Alaska!
Re: To those who voted.
you gat a point there...on the veggies
I'm told that Palin will accept Hefner's-page-spread-offer if she don't make it for 2012's Presidency.

Re: To those who voted.
I noted that the comment on universal health care was from our friend in Montreal Canada.....
I lived in Canada for awhile and got to see their Utopian health care system first hand.... It's Universally below average at best....
I could not even find a doctor that would accept patients in my area for 3 months and only succeeded when by CEO pulled some strings. The facilities are very dated (reminded me of the military), and the wait for care crazy.
Then if you need an operation (I needed knee work), the waiting list is long and sometimes they just run out of budget... tough shit about that brain tumor you're nursing, Mr. Jones.....
I'll stick to my current company PPO, thanks very much...
Ron

Too bad she's in Alaska. 'Cuz there's nowhere fer 'er bits to go besides South! 'Course, four years from now I'll be four years older, too. My eyes ain't gettin' any better so grannies pushin' carts across the Mall-Wart parkin' lot look better and better to me every day.Tubetwang wrote:I'm told that Palin will accept Hefner's-page-spread-offer if she don't make it for 2012's Presidency.
Good thing you got that company health plan. The 47 million people without healh insurance are SOL, period, end of story. Waiting list? "When Hell freezes over", that's when you'll get yer operation without health insurance.Ron Worley wrote:I lived in Canada for awhile and got to see their Utopian health care system first hand.... Come to think of it... good thing you got that job. 'Cuz no job = no health insurance = boogie back to Canada 'cuz that might look like a real attractive option real soon.
'Course, they see things different down there in Texas.
