what software?
I have a few choice amps I want to map out and am looking to find out what software everyone is using to produce these layouts. Any help is appreciated.
Re: what software?
For layouts, you can use something as simple as a paint/draw program or you can use a program more designed for it like Visio for the PC or ConceptDraw for the Mac. I have used ConceptDraw. It's a great program. I think Ron Worley uses Visio.

Yes, I use Visio after being introduced to it by Barry Witt. It has a learning curve, but is Microsoft standardized, so a lot of things are similar enough to Powerpoint and Word.
The problem with most of the good programs is that they are a tad spendy...

If you're a windows or linux guy, there's a FREE schematic capture + PCB layout package called http://kicad.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page KiCAD.
Build up the library - and the PCB footprint library, and 3D library and you can make some really nice layouts that you can then turn into turret board layouts.
I'm stuck with a G4 Mac, and KiCAD doesn't work for me ... yet.
I do use it at work - have for over a year - and find it pretty reasonable.
