I'm no country fan, but I do remember him on TV when I was a kid. Amazing guitar picker etc.

They're going too fast.

I always loved when he played Malaguena. He was a Mason/Shriner as well!

I grew up watching Hee Haw. Roy could sure play the hell out of the guitar. Amongst the last of the olde guard, for sure...RIP

Saw him few years ago at a local venue.
He signed some albums my wife had from her fathers collection. Great down to earth guy.
Had a great band with a smokin young guitarist.
Roy was no slouch even though you could tell his health was deteriorating.
