Guitar Notation Software for Chords?

Post by tictac »

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of a software that will take a chord played on a guitar and create a chord diagram as seen in sheet music for guitar.

I've seen mention of Guitar Pro 7 which prints out the actual notation and chords together. Thing is it's $70.00, I don't care to read musical notation, and I only want the chords to be able to add to lyrics and create a song sheet for guitar.

Currently I do this by hand then make a chord diagram in MS Paint then copy and paste and re-size in MS Word then paste into a song. A very time consuming process!

That's in advance for your advice!

Thanks for the recommendation; yes I did google to try to find what I was looking for but the results were a bit overwhelming. Which is why I thought I'd ask for some real life experiences to narrow the gap a bit....
