In February I took my wife to see ACDC in Fargo and the music was great but the vocals were terrible compared to the previous time I saw them.
Now I read about Brian's hearing was damaged or had period of no hearing. The vocals during the concert was like a wash almost sometimes it was clear and loud other times very weak or nothing. Strange sounding.
Other people made the same comment to me recently.

Re: ACDC Concert
His voice has deteriorated over the years and I've noticed in live videos that in some songs he does struggle to hit the notes with volume. I guess running around on stage and singing is a bit much. The other thing is he doesn't warm his voice up before he goes on.
Its no surprise that hes suffering hearing loss the poor guy. All of those speaker cabs you see on stage are plugged in and running flat out. During solos Brian will stand by them out of the way! His ears must be ringing for days afterwards.
Shame its happened though. The man is my hero!

Re: ACDC Concert
I went to an ACDC concert in November last year with one of my sons and it was so loud I couldn't tell whether he was singing or not. And neither could anyone else
I had to hang back about 200 metres from the stage with earplugs and it was still too loud.

Brian is a genuine, nice guy. I hope his hearing heals.
Funny story.
A few years ago he went home to Tyneside to spend Christmas with family & friends. His buddies got him up to sing at an open mike night at a working mans club (think a capacity of 200 max). After hearing him sing the club secretary came up & offered him $100 to sing on a Friday night.
"I sing in a band" says he.
"Bring the band, I'll make it $200"
