EDITED title as I think it's a local config problem at my end.
Anyone else having problems with Search results?
If I search for, well, anything, I get search results back just fine. If I click any of the result links, I get a TCP error, and "The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. "
I discovered that if I remove the part of the result URL that highlights the search term (&highlight=whatever) I can get to the result just fine. It's just a huge pain to strip that off the URL every time.
Examples:

Working link: https://tubeamparchive.com/viewtopic.php?t=15388
Anyone else seeing this?
Thanks,
Dave

Dave:
Search is working OK for me with Win7/Firefox and when I click on your 'broken link' example I get the correct page.
Which OS/browser are you using?

Firefox 43.0.4 and Win8.
That is really weird.
It just started yesterday. It was intermittent for a while but changed to 100% of search results. I thought maybe it was a temporary site issue but it's still acting up today.
Thanks for testing. It helps a lot to know that it's on my end somewhere!

Edited to add version.

That's the same version of Firefox I'm using with Win7.dkochan wrote:Firefox 43.0.4
I'm still getting a 'not allowed because of malware' block with Chrome, so can't check with that browser.
EDIT: Just checked with IE and your 'broken link' example is working fine there.
Re: Looks like it's just me - was TAG search results broken?
It's broken in IE, as well. I didn't even try Chrome - as you said, it's much harder to coax into visiting TAG.
I am behind a mildly-restrictive corporate proxy. Perhaps some change was made recently, although I can't explain why it would only affect the &highlight tags. The rest of the site is functioning just fine for me. If I could turn off search term highlighting for my userid, I'd be fine.
I will try when I get home and see what's up.
Thanks again for testing!

Yeah, it doesn't even have to be search results. I took the link to this thread, added a highlight tag, and it broke it for me.

Using the FF web debugger, it looks like the proxy is just blocking the entire request.
I edited the topic title. Sorry for the false alarm, folks!
