Thank you guys

Post by deiseldave »

I just wanted to take a moment and thank all you mad scientist geniuses for the shared knowledge.
I have been a member here for a several years, just reading, and dreaming about actually building an amp.
Recently, my 16 year old son and I successfully completed a D'lite-ish amp, and a year earlier a Plexi6v6.
He is super impressed that his old man can figure out, and teach him how to build an amp, and thinks it is the coolest, that you all are willing to share, and make that all happen.
I feel very fortunate and privileged to be a member of this forum, and hope to someday contribute more, as my knowledge increases.
I can't tell you how many times my son and I have talked about what "Mark Huss" said, or what some of you others said: Martin Manning, Dave at Colossal, Structo, ToneMerc, Smokebreak, Talbany, 10thTX, Boldaslove, Norburybrook, Ayan, and on, and on. I almost deleted these names, because it is unfair to recognize some, and not all. I just listed a few that enlightened me on subjects that I was interested in. But, am aware that I only scratched the surface of the "Ampgarage Hall of Famers".
The hours I have read here have inspired, made me spit coffee on the screen laughing, and opened up a whole new world of ideas.
Thank you all for helping, and sharing, and just being cool garage tweakin' real deal type dudes.
If you're a "Hall of Famer", and find yourself in Central FL. Give me a shout. I've got some good coffee for you.
Thanks again - Dave

To everyone who helped everyone! Cheers!
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.
