I read about this freeware in this morning's paper. Plugged into the web, and the first thing I see is what looks like a thinly disguised attempt by a Microsoft stooge to disparage this software, which is designed to allow much easier blocking of Windows 10's privacy intrusions.
Anyone knowledgeable care to comment? I am a neophyte in all things computer related, and I don't wear a tinfoil hat to bed or believe Obama is the Antichrist, but OTOH just because I'm not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me.
UPDATE: Sep 12. This software includes an item called OpenCandy which two sites, bleepingcomputer.com and securityzap.com describe as malware/adware, so I guess caution is warranted after all. Apparently Malwarebytes Premium, which I have, will pick it up too. I guess Microsoft wasn't crying wolf after all.
