Cbass, I'm right there with you- I got my start with a solid state organ my wife's aunt gave us that I eventually deconstructed for wire, parts, chassis, etc. I've been on the hunt for more and accumulating things I'll probably never get to use, but there is a sense of comfort in having my shop area lined with possibilities. Especially when it costs nothing. Many organ sellers get to the point they'll give YOU $20 to haul it away, at least up here in Portland.

Anybody know of a use for solid state transformers?
