Just helped a buddy dig a pair of McIntosh MC501 500 watt monoblock amps out of his garage where they'd gone unused for a decade, and set them up in his conservatoire. There you go! 1000 watts of high-end goodness in a 14 by 8 foot room!

A friend of mine has a couple McIntosh mono blocks.

I have been trying to talk him out of them for years.... :(

Wow....don't those go (for people that would pay it) for A LOT of money.?
They sure made beautiful looking gear.
Would love to have a pair of those.
