Fave Joe Walsh quote: "It sounded GREAT, until it blew up."

Gotta love a guy who lists blacksmithing as one of his hobbies. I can attest, smashing pieces of red hot iron with a big hammer = a lot of fun!

Definitely one of my favorite geetarists. Here's a tune that's not quite as common...

I've been a huge JW fan forever, but never had a chance to see him live. When The James Gang did a tour a few years ago, I landed two tix and went with my son. Great show. But I really longed to see his solo act even more. Finally, a little over a year ago, I caught him at MayoPac in Morristown NJ, and was blown away. The newest album is wonderful, and he did a lot from it. He also played most of the songs you would expect. What a great player / singer / performer.

"Hey, how you doin?"

I saw JG around 1970 or so.

They played at the local armory here.
It has the worst acoustics ever imagined.

From what I remember it was great! :D
