Having a nice listening party today. One of my Mackie HR824s went south, so I bought a cheap replacement: Mackie MR6...a pair for under $250, shipped. Ridiculous. Sound great.

Listening to a playlist created years ago, full of songs that may or may not be pop gems, but are for tuning my ears to the system. Nickleback?!? Not so much anymore, but man, their mixes demonstrate the peak of NO-MID music production.

Best aural experience on the list? Peter Gabriel's Down To Earth.
