Johnny Flesh & The Redneck Zombies

Post by LeftyStrat »

I asked my wife where she finds this stuff and she says the weird stuff just finds her. What does that say about me?

Matt thanks for the info. Some fun stuff for me. I guess I've gotten all hi brow over the years. My seventeen (soon to be eighteen) year old has really gotten into roots rock, and I'm enjoying it.

Matt and Lefty,

Good stuff for sure! Haven't been around a computer for a few days and it's too much of a pain to link from my phone.

Here are a few of my fav's pshycobilly / rockabilly / roots musicians, varied music styles:

Coffinshakers:

The penultimate Rev Horton Heat:

(This one is my current theme song for the divorce I'm currently going through - she literally left me with 4 walls  ) Check out the Revs other great songs too.

Some more upbeat punk / psychobilly, Mad Marge and the Stonecutters:

Another band - this one is a little pop like...

The Quakes:

And for Rockabilly and roots, check out anything from Imelda May
