I don't care how anal he is, or how crazy he goes over little things we would never hear - I still think he is pretty amazing, and unique, and I love his tone. YMMV.

I think that is pretty funny.

I saw him 20 or so years ago… They could have been playing one of his albums over the PA. It sound great but was kind of boring.

Look at that guy's hands. His glove size must be "no one makes gloves that big."

Geez...when I watched the video I loved his clean chorusy-delayed tone. When He switches to the "violin" tone, IMHO the high strings sound good-nice and thick- but the low strings are total mud...no"string"tone to them at all. Considering all that great gear he has,and his chops, I expected more.
Even when John McLaughlin was playing his Les Paul Custom through a 100watt Marshall stack-with every control on "10" the low notes had more definition.

Yeah his dirty tone has always kind of bugged me.

I suppose it is his fuzz tone but it could use a bit more treble.

Don't let that smoke out!

I guess if he gives it more treble his high notes will change from what he wants to hear. My Lerpoole 15 Blows that tone away!!!(IMHO) I'll never understand the philosophy of taking an amp that has one of the best tube natural distorted tones (Marshall) and using something with few dollars worth of transistors etc to give you your distorted tone...maybe I'm getting old...ooops...I am!
