Re: Coricidin
I never liked the Coricidin bottles. I tried them and couldn't get over the stinky pinky that you get from all that trapped humidity. I prefer thin brass for acoustics (especially if the action is low) and heavy glass for electric.

Well, I'm not going out of my way to find one, but I'll still keep my eyes peeled. Part of the fun is stumbling across something like that in some out of the way junk shop. I dig junk shops!
Don't you boys know any NICE songs?

You like junk shops, eh? Me too. Too much.
You should come to my house. Bring a truck. A big one.

Nick, maybe you can trade me some of your junk for some of my junk.

Re: Coricidin
I do have an old coricidan bottle. They repros are not even close. For one they use the wrong glass, and they are not heavy enough. Pyrex does not have the tone . I do like different slides on different guitars though. My hand cut green bottleneck for my strat, the coricidan on my les Paul and dobro. I also like the coricidan on my supro. But in standard tuning for a little earl hooker I like an old Ernie ball pinky slide with the brass showing thru from wear.
Another slide I really like on the strat is an Eric sardinas model flared brass model. The highs are not as sweet but the bottom has a thicker tone.
