THAT is funny

My schitty turned the only outbound streets into half bike lanes, but the bikes all ride on other streets. Traffic is an abyss in this small burb of a shithole.

If I see a councilman on the sidewalk I am taking a shortcut home. :)

Yes, and stay up wind you avoid the smell that way. You should get a whiff of Italian politicians, worse than a billy goat - something to do with the devil, I think.

You should drive down the sidewalk, fast as you can.

+1

Mercedes, Cadillac & "300" drivers around here assume themselves to be above the law. Including the law of physics. Cops seem to "know" the drivers can afford good lawyers & leave 'em alone. You never see one pulled over, even if they've broken the law in full view of an enforcement officer. It IS refreshing to occasionally see a tow truck yanking one out of the trees or swamp by the side of the road.

Same goes for my area, Leo. Where Beemer drivers were once the most obnoxious, they have obviously ditched Bavaria for large pickups, Mercedes SUVs and those reissue muscle cars. Defensive driving is about the only way I can avoid a collision.

I backed my pickup into my neighbors Lexus.it was pretty hilarious .teach them to park behind me.they were all like we just paid 70,000 dollars for this its only two weeks old.I said well the door sure did cave in easy you'd think for that much money they could make them doors a little bit better.didn't do a thing to my truck
I would have felt bad if they weren't such asses about it.called the law and all that shit.I should have just drove off no one seen me

Did they PAY 70 grand, or sign a note that they would. I vote for choice #2. Let their insurance buy them a new door. And may sweet baby Jeebus shut their mouf & show them the light IOW where to park safely. Inside their garage. Safe from flying golf balls there too, in your neighborhood.

I'm frightened to ask, but did the words "Hey, you got a purty mouth!" ever come up in the conversation?...

The thing that pissed me off is they new my ol ladies dad was an insurance agent known the people my whole life and still called the law.so I had to sit there and wait for them to show up instead of being at vwork.the law was like wtf you call us for.
Then they started in saying they wanted a new car since it was only two weeks old.
Amy even called them that night and apologized for me and they was like I just don't think we'll get over it.

Ha I've done had my truck windsheild taken out by a terrible golfer we live on the 14th hole so they're pretty hammered by the time they make it there

FWIW the rule around here is the cops gotta be called for any accident that involves $600 or more in damage. Which doesn't take much. I've had a couple tiny tappers that didn't need police attention OTOH almost anything bent or broken, or injury, gotta call the cops because there will be NO insurance payoff without their report.

They wanna new car, let 'em whine to their insurance adjuster & good luck charlie. They'll get a new door & they can get over it or not. Wait 'til spring and how many windshields they'll be replacing. Don't wait for the golfers. Gather up some stray golf balls & warm up your slingshot. I predict a move-out. The real estate agents, like the lawyers, always win.

I used to have a 97 geo metro. Crazy awesome gas mileage but getting stuck between two semis out on IH-30 was the scariest thing ever.

Never sacrifice safety for fuel economy. Now I have a 96 Ford F150 that is built like a tank. Would love to see some asshole in a Lexus or BMW get aggressive with me. Bumper cover for a 2012 lexus ES300? 600 bucks. Front bumper for 96 Ford F150? 60-80. lol.

Yeah, I loved driving my Chevy Z71 pickup.

People kind of get out of your way when you're coming down the road.

It isn't jacked up or anything, just imposing the way it is.

The mileage was also imposing, I figured I was working a week just to pay for gas for my daily commute. :x

You skeered 'em away! They was just carpetbaggers anyway, buy a car, get it dented, get an insurance payoff, skip off to try it again in a new place.
