She's still not convinced.
Clearly all that is needed is to explain to her that your new idol is Joe Bonamassa, who usually uses at least 4 amps on stage, and collects a lot more:

YES!

Now ........ if only I could explain to her that is a picture of his excellent and well diversified retirement plan for basking in luxury after he retires from the limelight!

NickC: Now dear ... the guitar he's holding is a ski chalet in Aspen. The three Les Paul's on the right are a Villa on the French Riviera, a couple of those vintage amps are a private island in the Caribbean ......

MrsC: <frowning> ........ and your pile of crap is one month of payments on a used, beat-up double-wide in Arkansas!

NickC: What's wrong with Arkansas? I love Arkansas! Excellent chickens in Arkansas!

New Bad Habits

Post by ampdoc1 »

At 63 I'm too old to give a fuck about women. And the music scene in Tulsa is almost exclusive to the Indian Casinos these days, and I find those places very depressing. So with a new, higher paying job, I've been adding to my amp collection. Have 20 some now, including several I've built over the years, and bought 3 more MUST HAVEs in the past week.

I don't play out anymore, but I don't have anybody that I have to please but me,...and I like it!
