My mail carrier asked me what the address was for the house next door to me. The lots on this block are large and the house numbers sometimes jump by 4 to 8 numbers so this really wasn't a stupid question.
I told him that the number was painted on the curb and he should look there.
He told me he wasn't required to do that.
He sure took a lot of pride in his work ethic.

They're OK on the Flat Rate Priority Mail packages, though for god's sake, don't overload the large ones. They hate that.
But Parcel Post? Forget it. They will wreck it.
As said above, almost as bad as UPS, who are felony level package wreckers.
