from Tube Depot. $120 really doesn't buy much these days. No bacon for me I can't afford it anymore.

That subject almost kept me away...so glad it was a photo of vacuum tubes. Otherwise I might have been damaged for life.

A bit of cautionary advice ....... only fry bacon on the valves in your amp with the chassis being a tubes-down type. Trust me on that.

I tend to buy JJs more than anything else, new production wise, but I'm curious about the Sovtek EL84Ms. Since I saw they're used in the SW30, I've been wanting to give them a go. The 12AX7 Long Plates as well. The JJs just put up with beatings so well. :)

Bacon wrapped vacuum tubes... Yes.

I think these should be served at an amp meet. :D

Maybe it's lunch time and I'm hungry, but I'm thinking this could work. Just need to put a drip pan in the bottom of the head cab...

That's what the reverb pan is there for. Catch the drippins' in the 'verb pan ..... and enjoy that Dick Dale bacon-dripping-surfadelic tone.

I say mount eight KT88's sideways with no space between them. Then lay the bacon strips across them length-wise!

Now you're headin' toward barbequing capability. 8)
