I quit drinking when I was 25, but yeah I'm smack in the middle of it. I live on the road going up to Sugarloaf Ridge State park and there's a signpost pointing directions and distances to all the Sonoma Valley wineries where our road comes out. Sugarloaf ridge runs right between the Sonoma and Napa Valleys.
Down the mountain from Sugarloaf, there is a camp ground - can't remember the name, but we've stayed there a few times. As I recall, it's not far from Ledson Estate Vineyards. Over is Healdsburg, there lives an incredibly gifted luthier, Tom Ribbecke, who has made a handful of guitars for me. I really love that entire area. My wife and I have vowed never to live in the big city again, though when we do finally move, i am hoping we'll wind up a little closer to wine country.

Tom's foreman Mike is one of my best friends from elementary school till today, probably the reason I still play guitar. He and I and Doyle Bramhall II were best friends in high school and had some fun times together. I have some wood drying in my driveway for him right now. Small world.
