Mickey,
I originally registered with my hotmail address. I tried to re- register and it tells me that I can't. I tried , then , with another address that I never use. It still thinks that I'm on hotmail. WTF

I tried a re-register with Bellsouth.net . I never got an e-mail but it works now so I'm cool again. Thanks.

Hey Mickey,

This is Shad (quinnamp) from TGP.
Is there anything that can be done with getting around this ISP based email thing?
I cannot seem to figure out how to get an email account from Quest.
I'll keep trying though.
Also I used to use MSN as my ISP. If that were still the case how would I ever be able to join. Can I pay for an email service and get accepted or what?
FWIW while I know spam is a threat I never see any spam on the numerous forums I have joined without an ISP based email. Just wondering what I can do to join in on the fun.
Thanks!
With regards,
Shad

Username "PRR" with a .EDU email address, never got email, clicking through "Resend activation code" gets me:

An Error Has Occurred!
A new activation email has successfully been sent.

So is it an error or a success?

IAC, I never get the email (yes, I checked my spam folders).

Are you, or your ISP, blocking delivery to EDU domains?

Other username "PR" with a gmail account, gets the rude "you are banned" message. OK, why didn't you say that where it says "This must be a valid email address"? What is "valid"?

AND re-start the browser. The cookie showing me as a gmail jerk is VERY sticky.

If we can do the paypal thing that would be great.
While I understand your suspicions in general in my own defense I must say that I would never pay for email again. Too many issues over the years going from one ISP to another, saving and burning folders and all this other jazz. Not for me.
Work? I build amps and cabs all day. No extra email accounts needed.
So honestly going through a very severe battery of phone calls, probably followed by being told I'll need to wait a week till a new install CD arrives is not the way I would prefer to go. Pretty sure I have a shiny new penny in my account that's been kicking around waiting for a home for some time. It would be pleasure to send it your as a token of who I am.
With regards,
Shad.
