People used to say this about me when I was younger...
Now that I'm a bit older I haven't changed my way of doing things... only refined it. It seems to work. Those same type of people now say "just let him do his job", because they know what the results will be like. I have not changed my approach, people just appreciate the end result and figure don't mess with the ingredients to an already good recipe!

As one who also carried this label for most of his life, I can say it's still true, though I have learned to deliver my criticisms a little more delicately.
