Yup and also build yourself the light bulb limiter shown in the Trainwreck files section I think in the Express BOM and more info in the Express build guide.looks like you can get away with an iron and a basic meter, some hand tools

but the bulb dissipates (limits) the current draw as light and heat, once its lit?

I use a variac but being new I though you wanted to start off on the cheap tech tool side of things.
