Just wondering what these are worth. Is it just a matter of who wants it at any given time, or do these OT's fetch a pretty consistent price.?
Thank You

Re: Stancor A-3801
They sell for $50-250 each
It depends on several factors.
1.) AGE
Version 1 have metal plates that designate the model on the bell housing.
Version 2 has paper stamp model designation with cloth lead cover
Version 3 same as 2 but with PVC wire cover
Version 4 Grey bell cover PVC wire cover
2.) CONDITION
lead length
rust
dents
NOS
3.) How many are currently available at the time of sale.
The stancor A-3801 was used in a multitude of amplifiers in the hi fi market. They are sought after by more then just Trainwreck cloners. Making it easy to get into a bidding war that pushes the finish price higher then market value.
