Bobby Vee still rocking it

Post by M Fowler »

Bobby Vee is from my area so here is a photo of a class 1962 Valley City ND reunion he is playing with his son's and I believe that is his daughter or relation.

He was playing for these guys the NuBeats. Love these old photos.

Looks like he is still playing the hollow body but went from a red head to a blonde.

Tom that is an old photo from the Teen Canteen in Valley City, ND I used to hang out there when a youngster. 8)

I am not all that familiar with what Bobby Vee has been using I have seen him so many times and didn't pay attention.

Yeah, we had a teen center in our town as well.

But the bands were usually hard rock and trying to imitate Jimi or Deep Purple.
This would have been around 1970-73
