Support your American suppliers when you can.........Heyboer

Post by ToneMerc »

Received a piece today from Heyboer; ordered on Friday, wound and shipped on Monday and received on Thursday.

Not the cheapest, but prices are very fair, options are an option, it's good quality and it's American made.

I agree. Phil is excellent to deal with, very helpful and responsive. I had two sets of custom 18W iron made recently and some others a while back. Very good quality at reasonable prices.

[political rant] I buy US made whenever possible and support the better quality while trying to keep jobs, innovation, and wealth from being exported. [/political rant]

Yeah, but 90% of the Earth's population does not live in the USA. I think it is important to try to support an individuals local economy, not specifically the USA.

Exactly.

I ended up buying from Phil though when I was living in the UK because it was actually far easier to deal with a US supplier than any of the UK ones!

Much as I would liked to have supported my own local economy... :(

I'm uk based and the quality of heyboer is fantastic works out still reasonable value here in the uk because all the uk stuff off the shelf is garbage. And no companies in the UK want to work with small builders in small quantities.
