As mentioned if either tranny is toast, it would be a very expensive repair, that is if you wanted another Partridge xfmr.

it's a good amp but I've seen better deals on soundcity amps threw craigslist in the last year. If the amp worked or had a small say "fuse" problem it would be a steal! but you can almost plan on it needing new tubes, a cap job, and poissible transformers, one or both replaced. plus whatever the issue is. plus original knobs. who ever buys this could get lucky or be in it $1000 in repairs/restoration just to get a working amp worth $850. IMHO it doesn't pan out unless you trust the seller and know more about it.
