SRV fans - a bootleg

Post by stelligan »

When I used to gig full time, the sax player in one of my gigs got the call to do an SRV show in the horn section. He taped the show from the stage with a cassette recorder. A couple years ago I was given a bad CD of the tape to try to EQ and make intelligible for him and here is the resultant show.

Mods let me know if this is not OK.

I wanna say summer of '87?

I bought a pair of shoes from a drug dealer the other day. I dunno what he laced them with but I’ve been tripping all day,

Great post! It's always great hearing SRV shows that I haven't heard before. He has a huge sound even on these terrible quality recordings!

Edit: Leemo, I love the sig! I used to have the same HDT quote in my signature on another forum :D.

You guys a re certainly welcome! Glad that everyone is digging them. Get these while you can - probably gonna only leave them up a little longer as I have limited room on my web space.
