I am sorry for your loss. I pray you are filled with fond memories and a desire to build on and improve the legacy he left for your family. We all stand on the shoulders of giants.
Wife: How many amps do you need?
Me: Just one more...
Gary
I am sorry to hear of your loss. We just lost our mother in July and I know what you must be going through. It is indeed a sad time. Amps and hobbies help us escape from the real world for a time but we always have things happen in our life that bring us back with a slap in the face. You and your family have our deepest sympathies and you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
SO sorry to hear about your father Gary. Consider yourself lucky that you have had your father around this long. I lost my dad in a car accident (hit head on by a wreckless driver) where I was his passenger. He was only 50 when it happened and way too young to go. He was my best pal, so it was and is hard at times, but I always remember all the good times we had.
On the bright side, we get your wicked sense of humor back in these parts! It has been missed.
Gary my thoughts go out to you and your loved ones
,My grandfather just recently past away
and it was hard on my family and me especially my grandmother. She pulled it together although and she's going strong again.
Hope may be transparent but love and family is set in stone!
Losing a parent is always difficult. When they pass suddenly, it is very hard on those of us remaining. There is a lot to be thankful for, though, if your dad passed peacefully, quickly, while doing something he loved at age 85. My dad died in pieces over 8 years with cancer problems, which he survived, heart disease, and finally a stroke. If I had to make a choice of dying right now, quickly, or living another 40 years going through what my dad did– just take me today, and I'll die with a smile on my face and hopefully a little sawmill gravy dripping from my lip
All that aside, we do miss them when they're gone, and I add my condolences, amigo mio.
