Choose the correct answer:
a) a door stop
b) an interactive sculpture
c) a solid state amp
d) strip it naked and use the chassis -- what you can put in it depends on its size, shape, and your imagination.

Sorry, you didn't give use much to go on. How about a picture or two?

Looks like lotsa space you'd have. As long as the chassis is heavy enough to support the PT/OT you decide to use and the bottom isn't full of holes in inconvenient places it's all up to you. Very worst case you could use the cabinet and have a chassis custom bent.

Answer d.

I agree with Benoit. This is some big chassis. Provided the metal is strong enough (quite likely), you can pretty much build what you want. If too flimsy for transformers, there are ways to reinforce it that won't cost you an arm and a leg. I don't think there will be much you can salvage.

For holes in inconvenient places you can always resort to sheet metal and #4 screws. I've done that many times. You might also use bits of the PC board you are going to remove instead of sheet metal. I do that, too, to close holes, but you've got to strip off any components.

This is a blue sky project. About the only limit I can see is your wallet.
