Noise problem w/Tiny terror build

Post by kjellpropell »

I just finished building a Tiny Terrorish amp out of mostly leftover parts. After using some shielded cable here and there it`s pretty quiet (should have had a bigger chassis, it`s quite crammed in there!), but if I turn down the volume on my guitar, there`s a lot of hiss. The hiss gets louder as the volume gets turned down.

Any ideas or tips anyone :?:

Some help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Pictures, some sort of scheme please. Sounds like power supply hiss or first stage sensitivity. You got a 34K grid resistor in there?
