My Deluxe hums more than I'd like but uses the stock three stage filters (16UF Atoms). I've added a Choke between the OT CT and screens but it hasn't really reduced the hum noticably.
The annoying part is - the amp is a rebuild of a 6V6 18watt that was quiet as a mouse but like your amp had an extra filtering stage (but used modern caps FWIW marked "HL" ex RS Components).
BTW the hum isn't huge but I'd like it gone nonetheless
