Would be interesting if it could be pulled off.
The signal flow, impedance matching, and amplification factor is only half the battle.
For example, pull six 6L6GC's from a Triple Rec and the heater secondary just had close to 8A unloaded from it. That's provides a necessary voltage drop to keep all the heaters at 6.3VAC. That's going to rise considerably unless they have droppers on the heater pins. That energy has to go somewhere and it's going to be dissipated as heat. I don't see a way around that. That's just one hurdle to overcome.
It's a commendable pursuit but I suppose we shall see how it pans out.
