A while ago I stumbled upon a thread about an Echosonic amplifier https://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... =echosonic and decided to build an amp based on the schematic found there. Instead of a tape delay I used Electro-Smith Daisy Seed to create the effect digitally. I'm not a programmer but it was fairly easy to figure out how to program it using Arduino IDE. I built as small of a combo cabinet as possible to fit a 12" speaker for it and used Jensen N12K speaker. It turned out to be a great sounding little amp.
There should be a law against doing such tidy work. It makes others' work look substandard.
Congratulations on such a great build and on building something you like!
Very cool indeed, love that you're sharing the schematic and the code for the addon board. Do you feel kind enough to share the pcb files as well? Or are you thinking of selling the boards themselves for people to build this on their own?
I added gerber files for the PCB to the Github repository. I will put all the KiCad files there at some point, I just need to sort out all the footprints and libraries I used.
I'm 21 years old I've always wanted an Echosonic amplifier me and my Grandpa are going to try these out thanks for the links we're going to turn ours into a tube amp though
